Fall is now upon us and the model railway season is in full swing. Now is the time to get out and enjoy the shows, clubs and basements.

Be sure to check out the latest issue, #65, of The Canadian as it has been added to the newsletter section in the members area.
I know many of you may not have updated your member information so take a few minutes to do this using the membership form and fill out out as completely as possible. Also pass along your coming events as I know that there are many events happining that members and the general public would be interested in. Of couse be sure that the events are trains related.

York Railway Modellers Fall Open House, Day 1

The York Railway Modellers own and operate an HO scale layout that occupies a space of 1600 sq. feet with 11 scale miles of mainline depicting the way freight operations of the Canadian National Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway as they were in Southern Ontario between the years of 1953 and 1957.

The main line runs between the cities of Toronto and London Ontario each with its own major yard and 3 industrial areas plus 8 towns in between. Each completed town has a replica of its station as it stood in the 1950's along with accurate rolling stock of the time.

Admission Adults $5 Children $1

- 75 scale miles of double-tracked mainline, running through mountain scenery.
- 60 to 80 car freight trains and full length passenger trains.
- Walkaround Digital Command Control.
- The only permanent N scale club layout in the GTA.
