Located at 13629 Guelph Line in Milton, Ontario the Halton County Radial Railway (HCRR) is a full-size operating electric railway and museum, featuring historic electric railcars operating on two kilometers of scenic track. The HCRR is owned and operated by the Ontario Electric Railway Historical Association (OERHA), a non-profit, educational organization. The HCRR is proud to be Ontario's first and largest electric railway museum.
The OERHA is made up of active members who volunteer to maintain, restore and operate the museum for its many visitors throughout the year.

Thomas The Tank Engine will visit 45 cities across the United States, and three in Canada, including St. Thomas as it's only Ontario stop. DOWT tickets include many family-fun activities: a 25-minute train ride with Thomas, meeting Sir Topham Hatt, Island of Sodor hay bale maze, story-telling, crafts, clowns, music, and admission to the Elgin County Railway Museum. The Day Out With Thomas (DOWT) event is hosted by the Elgin County Railway Museum and presented by HIT Entertainment. Thomas The Tank Engine will visit 45 cities across the United States, and three in Canada, including St. Thomas as it's only Ontario stop. DOWT tickets include many family-fun activities: a 25-minute train ride with Thomas, meeting Sir Topham Hatt, Island of Sodor hay bale maze, story-telling, crafts, clowns, music, and admission to the Elgin County Railway Museum. The event runs 8 am to 6 pm, July 15-17 and July 22-24, 2011. It is located at the St. Thomas Memorial Centre, 80 Wilson Ave. Tickets are $20 plus tax for ages two and older, and are available by calling 1-888-222-6608, or visiting www.ticketweb.ca/dowt. Limited tickets may be available at the gate.

Railway Heritage Days

Make tracks with the whole family to Railway Heritage Day! Tour the interiors of a steam engine, caboose, and baggage car and talk to former railroaders. Explore railway artifact exhibits, enjoy historic photos, model railway displays, a hobby train show, music, and a BBQ. BX Tower will also be open for tours during Railway Heritage Day, 10am-4pm.

Doors open at 8:00 am and the action starts at 10:00 am. First come, first choice for a table number.
There are refreshments available. Come and make a day of it and get a bargin model railroad item for your railroad. If you are just starting in the hobby, any member of our club woould be happy to give you some ideas and/or information, or point out an item that might be what you are looking for.
Admission is $5 at the dor, this includes a door prize ticket.
